Case Study: New England Gift Card - Retailer Engagement.

Seeking Answers: Business New England in conjunction with Armidale Regional Council (and the State and Federal Government) had kicked off a buy local campaign provided by the folks over at https://www.whyleavetown.com/. The challenge was to establish stakeholder engagement quickly, in time for a December campaign to consumers. A pretty tight timeframe. The project is driven by a desire to encourage shoppers to purchase gift cards as Christmas gifts, for use at participating retail outlets - keeping local money circulating in the local community.

Deploying Solutions: Seek+Deploy worked with Business New England President Anthony Fox, Ingrid Rothe from Vivid Thinking and Edwina Bach from Small Batch Graphic to:

  • Develop a face-to-face Retailer Engagement Strategy;

  • Info Pack (DL flyers, FAQ Sheets); and

  • Social Media content.

During deployment the Project Team identified stakeholder feedback that signup appeared complicated, so we shot a short endorsement video feat.Adam Hayes (HustLe Cafe Co) discussing how simple it was to participate. The video was live within 24 hours, helping drive registrations and move from the retailer to the consumer engagement phase.
